This is honestly brilliant. It gives a really good sense of a fast, fluid change, and actually looks like you know something about anatomy, both human and canine. A lot of werewolf designs are much too bulky or stylized. This actually looks like something that could be walking around, like a proper living creature. I love how stage 2 is very similar to the classic "wolfman", it's a good image. You've really brought the werewolf to life here. Bravo sir/madam. Other artists, take note, this is what a werewolf should look like. It shouldn't be a cartoon, it should be an animal. Areal creature, and this drawing is perfect.
I love the angles and poses! Do you mind if I use stage II of the transformation as a reference to help me with a piece I'm working on? I'd credit you for the reference, and there would be no tracing/recoloring involved.
In general it looks awesome... Specially the last one wich is by far my favourite and for a change is not a super huge and bulky werewolf (I like big werewolf forms, but for a change this one looks perfect). Like you said yourself the middle one should have a middle ground between faces 2 and 4. Besidas that little things that I would change (really minor, but you may think on them) 1- the tail doesnŽt change much... and despite the fact that i really like how it looks on pic 2 maybe making it a bit smaller would be fine 2- the pic 4 looks too wolfish except the feet... iŽd recomend adding some more human features somehow (and thus making it much more different than the last pic)... maybe more human eyes? or some human fingers in one of the hand? Pic 1, 2 (except the tail) and 5 are really perfect for me... and like I said the rest are fine too. This details can be changed or not.
great feed back thanks so much i just finished fixing the middle picture and i will scan and then post it later today. i also think i will take your advice on the tail and the hands on the 4th picture
Wow, really stunning! The only thing I feel is missing would be some sort of middle ground in the look of the face between 2 and 3. I feel there should be a small muzzle-like thing growing, before it becomes a complete wolf muzzle as it howls. But really nice trnsformation all together. The attention to detail is great!
